Noel Bairey Merz discusses the strange dichotomy in heart-health care as research has long focused on men with cardiovascular disease despite more women now dying of heart disease than men. Talking about what we still don’t know about women’s heart health, Dr. Noel Bairey Merz notes that women and men experience different symptoms during a heart attack, just one of the reasons such significant events may be overlooked.
